Magnetic Ear is a New Orleans brass band with mostly original repertoire. The six piece band is made up of a tenor saxophone, a baritone saxophone, two trombones, a sousaphone, and a drum set. Together, these musicians play all styles that suit their taste for hip, danceable music. Their influences range from New Orleans 2nd line/Funk to Balkan, African and Latin music. 

The band has been touring the US and Europe and has released 4 albums. The two latest releases (Aliens of Extraordinary Ability and Live at Vaughan's) are available on Apple music and Spotify.
